Roof
Systems
| There
are several features which make Tennessee
Log Homes the natural choice. The first is
our product quality. When comparing log home
manufacturers and their prices, make sure
you are comparing "apples to apples."
Remember, you get what you pay for. |
| |
|
The
Tennessee Log Homes Premier Roof System
(included in standard pricing) features
exposed beam heavy timber framing, 2-inch
tongue & groove decking, and a vented
insulation system.
|
|
The
timbers are surfaced per order, cut to
length and prepared for shipment. These
timbers are used for the exposed rafters
and rafter collars, the ridge beams, valley
rafters and girder beams in the Premier
Roof System - "standard equipment"
in our price list.
|
|
Another
standard component of the Premier Roof
System is 2x6 tongue & groove roof
decking. We use a 2-inch product where
many competitors offer a 1-inch product.
Moreover, we use Canfor Spruce/Pine/Fir
"Premium Select" grade. This
is the very best in North America.
|
|
| Our
Premier Roof Insulation is the best on the
market. We use polyisocianurate, not styrofoam.
|
|
The
insulation panel's ridges and valleys
allow for important ventilation in the
roof system. The R-value of the entire
Premier Roof System exceeds R-30.
